Comcast and AppleTV
In June 2022, Comcast partnered with Apple to give customers another platform on which to access their XfinityTV subscription. It first launched on AppleTV 4K and Apple TV HD devices, and Apple TV users can download the newly designed Xfinity Stream app from the App Store to sit alongside the device’s other streaming apps.
“We are always looking for ways to enhance our entertainment experiences as the needs of our customers evolve - whether that’s expanding to new platforms, launching new features, or adding more programming options,” said Michael DelCiello, Senior Vice President, Strategic Development, Comcast.
This initiative was part of a broad distribution my team reached with Apple that was announced in October 2021. We previously collaborated with Apple to add the Apple TV+ subscription streaming service to Comcast’s video platforms, which included a free trial offer.
