Pioneering Social Media and Email Alerts in TV

Since joining Comcast and launching the original X1 platform, we’ve forged partnerships with tech and media companies to integrate it into our customers’ lives. In 2015, we beta-tested a partnership with IFTTT (If This, Then That), a tech company that specialized in connecting apps to devices. We worked on an initiative where Comcast customers would have the option to set up alerts on their TVs from other platforms like Gmail, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
